Modernism Prague style

This stylish three bedroom garden apartment occupies the first floor of a spacious villa designed by Czech architect Jiri Lavicka (1928–2013) for himself and his family and as a part of a unique modernist houses project next to the Hvezda park in Prague 6.

The apartment has been recently reconstructed to combine the architect’s visionary design and original features with contemporary comfort and luxury.

The clever configuration of space and careful use of materials mark this out as an exceptional apartment. All rooms are spacious, with large double-glazed windows that overlook the private garden. Original design features, open fireplaces and a selection of artworks further boost its unique atmosphere.

The heart of the apartment is the majestic living and dining area, surrounded by a live-in kitchen to the right, a stylish master bedroom to the left and two smaller bedrooms at the back. There are also two separate bathrooms.

Bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and direct access to the garden. The kitchen is equipped with new induction plate, oven/grill, dishwasher, antique wooden island with a marble plate plus plenty of additional storage. Bathrooms are equipped with contemporary design fittings and natural wooden shelves.

The apartment has an individual entrance from the street and is surrounded by a beautiful garden.

LIVE AT THE EPICENTER OF CZECH HISTORY

The house is located in a residential area next to the historical site of battlefield of the White Mountain, one of the focal points in the Czech history, which marked the start of the 30 Year’s War. The north part of the property faces the Hvezda Park, the south side is sheltered from the Belohorska street by a sound-proof wall and a large garden with grown-up trees.

Slezanu is a quiet residential street with a possibility of parking directly in front of the house. There's a supermarket and public transport (tram, bus) right across the street and a subway station will open later on this year. Both the city centre and the airport are easily reachable by car (15 mins) and by public transport (30 mins).
